We strive to keep usability, simplicity and elegance a part of every piece we design. Usability is always regarded as an important part of our design, whether it is a Web site/application or an annual report. Usability keeps people engaged, it lets them get from point A to point B, or even to point Z as easily as they can. It certainly doesn’t hurt if that path is visually appealing as well. ⇒

This year, Education World, an organization dedicated to helping teachers integrate the Internet into the classroom, awarded an A+ rating to the Henry Wadsworth Longfellow Web site, a project of the Maine Historical Society. The Longfellow site was designed and co-developed by Jamie Peloquin two years ago. Jamie Peloquin Design continues to help maintain the site on an as-needed basis.
Harold., a documentary film that I collaborated on with Mark Jamra, has just been selected to be shown at the 10th Annual EthnoFilmFest in Berlin this November. This year’s theme “Under the Influence of Reality”, showcasing young films from various regions and genres. The films seek to offer an enthralling trip through both foreign cultures, as well as their own. We are very excited about Harold. making it abroad to Berlin this year, especially since it’s entry request was from the film festival itself. Yesterday marked the one year anniversary of Jamie Peloquin Design being my full-time job. It has been a great year! I give many thanks to my incredibly supportive family, my clients who have been so great to work with and those who have helped me deliver to them the best products we can.
