Keep it Simple, Keep it Usable

We strive to keep usability, simplicity and elegance a part of every piece we design. Usability is always regarded as an important part of our design, whether it is a Web site/application or an annual report. Usability keeps people engaged, it lets them get from point A to point B, or even to point Z as easily as they can. It certainly doesn’t hurt if that path is visually appealing as well.

Opera Web Standards Curriculum Launches

Opera opened the doors to it’s Web Standards Curriculum. The Curriculum offers courses to teach you standards-based web development using HTML, CSS, Javascript, as well as basic design principals and theory. Currently, there are 23 articles available, with about 30 more to be published between now and September.

TypeCulture Turns Four

Happy Birthday to TypeCulture, a digital type foundry and academic resource for design students, educators and professionals, has turned 4 years old today. The site is the brainchild of type designer, Mark Jamra, and was designed and developed by Jamie Peloquin Design. TypeCulture has become a major online resource for learning about typography and graphic design.
